Teaching Family Parent:
Teaching Family Parents are the trained, primary staff of the Teaching Family environment for children. The Teaching Parents live with the resident children in a sponsored home and hold primary responsibility for the care and development of the children present in the home. Teaching Parents cooperate and consult with teachers, clinical team members, therapists, parents, agencies, court personnel and others that have significant involvement with the child.

Teaching Parent Alternate:
The Teaching Parent Alternate performs the duties associated with the day to day teaching and care of children within an assigned home. The Teaching Parent Alternate also provides coverage for the home during Teaching Parent absences.
